Frankfurt Cathedral (also called Bartholomew’s Cathedral), is a landmark in the heart of the city. Located not far from the Römer and the Paulskirche, the cathedral offers a good starting point for tours in the city center.
From the 95 meter high cathedral tower, you have a great view of the city from the observation deck, which is located at 66 meters above the ground.
Between the years 1315 and 1358, the cathedral was built on the remains of the old Palatine Chapel in the Gothic style.
